English Speech (AMEB)
Building confident, articulate and expressive speakers

Our Speech program covers four core areas: public speaking, storytelling, monologue and poetry performance. Training follows the syllabus and assessment standards of both AMEB and Trinity College London, developing confident, articulate and expressive speakers through structured, progressive learning.
Students build skills in speech writing, storytelling, character interpretation, vocal technique, diction, stage presence and physical expression. Classes are led by an experienced VCE Speech & Drama examiner, with a strong focus on both examination preparation and performance development.
Throughout the year, students have opportunities to work towards AMEB and Trinity examinations, participate in speech and drama competitions, and perform in a Showcase every term — building real stage experience alongside recognised qualifications.
